I deeply despise this Quebec winter. It’s been cold and windy since early December and it has not let up since then.
Yes folks it’s no longer called global warming but instead it’s known as climate change.
I long to be able to trade my winter coat and boots for a gabardine and heels and not have to deal with walking to the subway in the morning in -20C weather. I know it’s coming eventually.
As I get older I am beginning to understand why some people to want to travel south during the winter months and due to this year’s unrelenting onslaught, I understand it even more.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed for spring. I personally have never been more ready for it.

I have only had a few outings this winter and rather than wear my stilettos I have gone with a clunking wider heel. Still, trying to walk on frozen walks, streets and parking lots does add unnecessary adventure to the outing. It has been very cold and since I do my T outings in a dress or skirt the chill has not been a friend.
