one less thing to worry about

My 15 year old son is pretty normal. He doesn't have gender dysphoria but he does have a mild form of anxiety which we are trying to manage with psychological counseling.

While I am not ashamed of who I am, I can't help but be glad that I didn't genetically pass my dysphoria on to him. I am hoping that he will be able to settle down with someone one day and have a normal life.

He's growing like a weed and now is 5'11" (by this weekend's measurement) and on his way to being over 6' by the time he's done.

As parents, we put work into our kids and we hope they turn out okay. After some years of having some anxiety over what kind of impact I could have at a distance as a divorced parent, I am glad to see that things are coming together for both of mine.
