You could be forgiven for thinking this was a female singer imitating 80's performer Corina Chiriac but it is instead Romanian singer Sebastian Muntean in the makeup, dress and the heels. The performance is live and there is no lip syncing.

Sebastian's movements are graceful, feminine and very natural and he could most certainly pass for a genetic woman. See if you agree...

I don't like groups. I don't know why I have such a natural aversion to them but perhaps it is because I don't like feeling like I am being herded somewhere and being a shy kid probably played into it. Groupthink is something I desperately avoid and if you are easily influenced perhaps seeking comfort within them isn't the best idea but I can certainly understand their allure for the extrovert.  I think my cynicism developed by watching people since very young and witnessing hypocrisy and pretense first hand. Also like my father I have a low tolerance for stupidity. Hence I worked on my psyche and coped mostly on my own. Yes, you still struggle like everyone else but at least you are either victim or beneficiary of decisions purely of your own making.

Priorities

The thrift store purchased purse pictured below is the best one I have ever owned (the second being one my mother gave me a couple of years ago). It's a supple leather, a great caramel colour but I love it specifically because it's the right size and so comfortable when worn over the shoulder for extended periods. I have owned many over the years but nothing comes close. I am all about comfort these days with the style coming in second because no one wants to spend any substantial time in pain. It's why I don't wear stilettos anymore and have two pairs gathering dust just in case the right occasion comes but never does. In other words, I seem to have inadvertently picked up the same habits many women my age have simply by living. It's a long and slow process blending a style into your life that works which has resulted in a progressively smaller closet. Language matters

I am trying to comprehend why many in the male to female gender variant community continue to employ the term crossdresser when female to male persons who do the same thing are not so labeled. If women aren't "crossdressing" when they wear traditionally male clothing, why is a male bodied person doing so when wearing a skirt? I tend to personally see this term as slightly anachronistic and dismissive rather than helpful since there are a series of societal connotations surrounding it which aren't generally positive or helpful. If we are going to move towards a deeper level of understanding and tolerance of all types of behaviour (no matter the percentage of the population which engages in it), we need to update the lexicon as we have done in many other areas of social science. Hence if we are going to less stigmatize a behaviour which has always existed and which occurs with much more frequency than transsexualism, a name change might be in order. Perhaps as a startin
