Fargo season 3 may be the best of a very good series. I had put off watching this last season but I don't know why because its tense and brooding pacing invites us to stay riveted. Nothing is telegraphed here as it is simply far too idiosyncratic for that.

Characters come and go and mystify us with dark motivations we are left to decipher. This is more than just quality television with a cast which is readily up to the challenge of interpreting material owing much to the original and wonderful 1996 Coen brothers film which began it all.
